Filter the whole house, not just one tap
The Viva whole home system installs at your main water entry point and treats every drop before it reaches a tap, a shower or an appliance. Sediment, chlorine, heavy metals and limescale — all of it, everywhere.
A gatekeeper for your whole water supply
Installed at the main entry point, the system filters every drop of water before it reaches your taps, showers and appliances — so your family is protected from sediment, chlorine and heavy metals right at the source.
Why we fit Viva
The Viva series is engineered specifically for the mineral content of Australian water, and it's built to sit outside and be forgotten about — stainless steel reinforcements, UV-resistant housings, heavy-duty brass connectors and steel protective covers.
Leak-proof engineering. A dual O-ring sealing system and reinforced fittings help prevent water damage and reduce maintenance compared with cheaper systems running single seals or soft plastic threads. When a filter housing fails, it fails inside your house — this matters more than the spec sheet suggests.
Longer filter life. The full-size 20″ housing means cartridges last longer before replacement: fewer change-outs and better long-term running costs than the smaller competitor housings.
1-micron sediment
Removes fine particulate before it reaches the rest of the stages, or your appliances.
Heavy metal reduction (KDF55)
Targets the metals that carbon alone won't handle.
Carbon filtration
Chlorine, taste and odour — the difference you notice first, in the shower more than the glass.
Limescale reduction
Less scale build-up in pipes, kettles, dishwashers and your hot water system. Quietly the biggest long-term saving.
What you'll actually notice
Taste & smell
Chlorine-free drinking water from every tap in the house, not just the filtered one.
Skin & hair
Reduced chlorine and impurities in shower water — the change most people report first.
Softer washing
Clothes come out softer, and appliances run on water that isn't quietly scaling them up.
Longer appliance life
Less scale build-up in pipes and appliances helps extend their lifespan and efficiency.
What the water actually passes through
- 1SedimentRust, silt and grit stripped out first so the finer media aren't clogged by the rough stuff. Filtration accuracy up to 1 micron.
- 2Heavy metal & carbonKDF55 reduces heavy metals, with natural coconut carbon for taste. Rated up to 18 months.
- 3Limescale & carbonTreats hardness so scale stops building up in your kettle, shower screen and hot water unit. Rated up to 18 months.

Filtration installed at the water meter
That's where it goes on most jobs — it treats the water before it splits off to the house. Wall mounting is an option in most instances too, if the meter position doesn't suit.

Straight answers about water filtration
What does a whole home filtration system actually do?
It's installed at the main water entry point, so it filters every drop before it reaches your taps, showers and appliances. That means cleaner water everywhere in the house — not just at one filtered tap in the kitchen.
Why not just fit an under-sink filter?
An under-sink unit only treats one outlet. You still shower in chlorinated water, still wash your clothes in it and still run it through your dishwasher and hot water system. Whole home treatment covers all of it, and reduces the scale build-up that shortens the life of appliances and pipework.
Will it drop my water pressure?
No — the Viva unit uses a full-size 20″ housing and is designed for high flow rates suited to Australian mains pressure. Showers, washing machines and taps stay strong even during peak use. This is the main reason we fit Viva rather than the smaller housings some competitors use.
What does it remove?
It's a three-stage system: sediment filtration to 1 micron, heavy metal reduction using KDF55 with coconut carbon, for chlorine, taste and odour, and limescale reduction media. Most cheaper systems only run one or two of those stages.
Does it need maintenance?
Filters need periodic replacement depending on your usage and local water quality. Because the Viva uses a full-size 20″ housing, cartridges last longer between changes than the smaller units. We can take care of all servicing and filter replacements for you.
